SPF Connect Project Privacy Policy

The SPF Connect project provides a free Computer (PC) running SeeYouLink software https://seeyoulink.com/ to eligible individuals.  Natpoint Ltd are contracted to run the SPF Connect Project on behalf of the Six Point Foundation, charity number 1143324, until May 2020.

Who are Natpoint

Natpoint Ltd is an IT support company. Natpoint is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of the recipients who received a computer through the SPF Connect Project.

For the purposes of Data Protection legislation, Natpoint is the Data Controller. This means it is in charge of personal information about you.

Information held by Natpoint

Our use of your personal data has a lawful basis because you have provided your personal data to us on joining the SPF Connect Project.

Natpoint processes personal data provided by you only to manage the SPF Connect Project. Natpoint use the information to:

  • configure the PC and the SeeYouLink software
  • provide ongoing support
  • manage the project
  • provide information to the funding charity, the Six Point Foundation

Natpoint retain the following information;

  • Your name, address and telephone number
  • Email username and password. This is required for your email to operate in the SeeYouLink software
  • If one has been provided, details of the data sim used for internet connectivity. This includes the number and SIM identification number
  • Team Viewer ID for remote support
  • SeeYouLink login and password
  • OverDrive login details for digital books
  • K9 web protection login and password (if installed)
  • Details of the referring organisation/individual and their contact details
  • Details of a secondary contact if provided by the recipient

If you return your PC and no longer wish to be part of the SPF Connect project, your contact information and any passwords we hold are removed from our database and the SeeYouLink administration console, together with the information collected prior to you receiving the PC.

Information held by SeeYouLink

Our use of your personal data has a lawful basis because you have consented to our use of your personal data provided by you on joining the SPF Connect Project.

SeeYouLink process personal data relating to individuals who have received a computer with the SeeYouLink software installed under the SPF Connect Project. The data is held on servers located in the EU. SeeYouLink retain the following information

  • Personal information
    • First name
    • Last name
    • Email
    • Optional picture of you, if you decide to set one as your profile picture
  • Information needed for the functioning of SeeYouLink software features
  •   if using the Email feature
  • email account (email and password)
  • email contacts
  •    if using browser (“Internet”)
  • list of favorites (URLs)
  •    if using Video Calling
  •   list of calling contacts
  •   the email address for the optional voice mail


  • Information regarding the usage of SeeYouLink software


    • SeeYouLink started time
    • SeeYouLink session completed time and length
    • Feature use time (e.g., email, calling)
  • email sent time
  • email contact added time
  • email read time
  • email viewing attached photos time
  • calendar event added time
  • calendar view switched to monthly time
  • calling voicemail sending offered time
  • calling voicemail sent time
  • call attempted time
  • call accepted time
  • call rejected time
  • call completed time and duration
  • the version of SeeYouLink user uses
  • attempt to update SeeYouLink from version to version
  • error while trying to update
  • successful update

How we use your information

Natpoint use your information to be able to support the PC and SeeYouLink software including:

  • Installing updates to the software
  • Identify training needs and requirements

SeeYouLink use your information to be able to operate, support and develop the SeeYouLink software including:

  • Decision which software features to advance and which to discontinue offering
  • Decision which software features to promote and explain better
  • Decision how to prioritize development efforts

Third parties

Natpoint and SeeYouLink do not share your information with third parties for any marketing purposes whatsoever.

Natpoint may share your information with the following trusted parties:

  • the organisation or person who referred you to the SPF Connect Project. e.g. the AJR
  • your secondary contact or other family member whose contact details you have provided
  • SeeYouLink to provide support for the SeeYouLink software

SeeYouLink share your information with the following trusted parties:

  • Natpoint to provide support for the SeeYouLink software

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for access to your personal information;
  • ask for rectification of the information we hold about you which may be incorrect;
  • ask for the erasure of information about you;
  • ask for our processing of your personal information to be restricted;
  • receive your data in a form allowing you to transit it to another data controller (portability);
  • object to us processing your information

The SPF Connect Project requires Natpoint and SeeYouLink to hold data which allow the SeeYouLink software to function and enable the PC to be easy to use.  If you request that we erase some or all of the data we hold on you, SeeYouLink software may require you to enter your details when you start SeeYouLink, use email, Skype, calling and some other applications.

Connecting elderly people with their friends and family

I have had the great pleasure of working with Natpoint recently. Michael and the team successfully solved and set up all our IT and
